The safety of the compressed air system of commercial vehicles depends on the correct components, their functional design and their correct assembly. The VOSS quick connect system 232 ensures this to the highest degree. It has been on the market for 25 years, setting the unmatched standard for safety and leak-tightness, particularly in pneumatic brakes.

Safe assembly, secure connection

With the quick connect system 232, only two components must be assembled: the coupling unit, in which the nut, retaining clamps and clamp cage are integrated, and the plug. Two snap-in stages ensure safety: in the first snap-in stage, the system is secured, but has an audible and measurable, desired leakage. In the second snap-in stage, the system is secured and sealed. In addition, a red O-ring is used for visual plug-in control.

The system is available in various materials and sizes. In addition to plugs in many different shapes, the catalog program also includes couplings, manifolds, valves, test points, bulkhead plates and the necessary tools. The quick connect system 232^HT variant is available for use at higher temperatures.

Multi connectors

Multi connectors connect several consecutive connections in a single assembly step. They can be used as intersections, for example in bulkhead fittings, or as component connecting ports. The main components are individual two-part or multi-part plastic plates as well as plugs and couplings which lock into them.Multi connectors are intended to simplify assembly and make it less susceptible to faults, reduce the number of assembly steps and thus drastically reduce assembly time and increase safety.

Manifolds and connectors for compressed air

Manifolds and connectors for use in air brake systems are an integral part of the VOSS plug-in system programs (e.g. Systems 203 and 232). They are used in brake and auxiliary systems of commercial vehicles as well as in passenger car air suspension.

To produce a leak-tight connection of nylon tubes and quick connect systems, it is necessary that the nylon tubes are cut to length straight, burr-free and clean. In addition to the duty of care when cutting to length, this is ensured by the quality of the tools used. Suitable tools, which ensure a correct connection, must also be used for the assembly of nylon tubes on the mandrel of quick connect systems. To ensure that VOSS products are always assembled with process safety in mind, we offer appropriate assembly tools.
