Quick connect system 246 ^NX

Standard solutions (e.g. SAE and VDA) are often used to connect fuel, SCR and thermal management lines. For example, when it comes to responding to tight assembly space or assembly conditions or meeting special requirements, they quickly reach their limits. For this we have developed the quick connect system 246^NX, which is not only suitable for special conditions of use, but always offers the best solution.

Connect, position, and release with ease

The assembly of the VOSS quick connect system 246^NX is simple, fast and safe. The snap-in and release elements ensure a high degree of enclosure of the connecting profile. This allows higher pressures. At the same time, the element can be set in eight positions. This facilitates access when releasing in tight spaces. The 246^NX quick connect system is designed to save space, also making it easy to assemble and dismantle.

The system 246^NX plug body is made of plastic. A variant made of metal is offered by the VOSS quick connect system 246^AX . An electrically heated version of the 246^NX quick connect system, developed for SCR and fuel cell systems, is also available.

Quick connect system 246 ^AX

In the quick connect system 246 product family, the 246 ^AX quick connect system is next to the 246 ^DS (Double Seal) as a metal version for even greater safety. The system also meets the highest requirements for handling during assembly and disassembly and for suitability for tight installation spaces.

Quick connect system 246^DS

"DS" stands for Double Seal. The VOSS quick connect system 246^DS is different from the 246^AX version, with two O-rings to make it ideal for use with hydrogen, gasoline and ethanol media. Together, both have increased safety and media resistance due to the use of metal and the simple handling in assembly and disassembly as well as the outstanding suitability for tight assembly spaces.

Lines and connections in the engine cooling circuit must be resistant to media, temperature and pressure. The best possible cooling effect depends on an optimum coolant flow and minimized heat losses. Ready-to-install systems must simultaneously withstand the motions of the engine and vibrations in a flexible and stable manner. To meet these requirements, the components must be made of the correct materials. The connections must be leak-tight.
