Security:
Double-cutting edge technology with additional soft sealing elements: The ES-4 (VA) cutting ring combines the proven double-edge technology with additional soft seals or, in the case of the ES-4 VA, with a soft seal and an imitation labyrinth seal in the secondary area.
This guarantees significantly increased leakage safety by sealing the primary leakage paths at the 24° cone and between the cutting ring and pipe.
Pressure resistance:
The ES-4 (VA) is the perfect solution wherever increased leakage safety is required. In the lightweight "L" series, the ES-4 soft-sealing cutting ring can withstand pressures of up to 500 bar The safety factor is even four times the value for all pressure specifications. This provides additional safety in the event of unintentional overloading of the connection point.
Durability:
Due to the VOSS coat zinc-nickel-based surface protection, the ES-4 cutting ring is optimally protected against corrosion. The ES-4 VA cutting ring is made entirely of corrosion-free stainless steel. The additional soft-sealing elements are also protected against flushing out and rolling due to the complete chambering when installed. The joint remains tight without the so-called "sweating effect".

Two sealing shapes optimally combined
The ES-4 (VA) cutting ring is based on the proven VOSS pipe connection in accordance with ISO 8434-1.
The primary metal-sealing cutting ring is supplemented by additional soft seals made of FKM in the secondary area. This increases the leakage resistance of the connection point.
More safety due to over-mounting protection
The chambering of the soft seal in stable, gap-free installation spaces prevents it from being flushed out under full system pressure, thereby enhancing leakage safety.
This type of chambering is achieved by the Stop function of the ES-4 cutting ring. The cutting ring geometry is designed in such a way that, despite of the block effect remains highly elastic. It also prevents cutting too deeply into the pipe and is particularly effective with thin-walled pipes against constrictions.
